It was like a whole new TEAm..... 7 of us, representing 4 teams and a leader, met up in Arnhem for the weekend. Even though I (Shirley) was the only one who knew everyone, it didn't matter at all. Everyone had had similar experiences and we spent hours talking about 'remember when....' or 'were you also there?' or 'Did George tell you that joke too?!'
The new 'TEAm' was made up of Laure (Belgium) and Nadia (Netherlands) from TEA 1 '08, Koen and Lisanne (Netherlands) from TEA 4 '07, Nathan (England) from TEA 2 '07, Maertn (Belgium) from TEA 1 '07 and Shirley (NZ) from all of them!
We also went to church together and imagine our surprise when the preacher spoke about a book we had all studied on TEA. For ex-TEAers reading this, think about pets. :)
I was really encouraged to see how everyone was doing. We spent time praying for each other and just sharing where we are with God - the highs and the lows.
The weekend went by far too quickly and saying goodbye, it's just like saying bye to a new TEAm!
Please pray for all the people who have completed TEA since we started in 2004. Pray that God will continue His work in and through their lives and that they will find people to challenge and encourage them as they continue with Him.
