TEA starts in two weeks and we are rarin' to go.
This part is mainly for ex-TEA folk who will know what we are talking about and for the next group whoi have something to wonder about!
We have been buying some new equipment such as a large tent (not for tramping) to meet in when the weather occasionally gets bad and we are at a remote camp site, or we do not want to disturb others. We're looking at doing more camping while tramping - in case huts get full - so three flies are on order.
We have also re-written a lot of the old "Survival Guide" and now have it printed back-to-back with the Study Manual - this is to prevent it being left behind when the team goes tramping.
Please start praying for these guys now:
1. That it will be a life changing experience for the good of the whole TEAm.
2. For us as leaders, that we won't be too hard on them - not really, that this remains as much of a challenge and growth opportunity for us as it has been in the past.
3. Pray for the weather! We have had one wild winter, but signs of Spring are all over the place and the temperature is getting warmer by the week. But there are still record snow levels in the mountains.
Yours for all of us,
George Booth
